Rechristening a Football School alone never gives it a turnaround. The Football School started in 2017 in association with Kerala Blasters, Scoreline, and Kerala Football Association gained momentum as the years sped away. Hundreds of students from the age of six to sixteen had the privilege of playing Football in a professional way. The coaches approved by the AIFF have put in their best efforts and our players confidently exposed their talents and skill in bigger arenas in a very short span of time. They played in Subroto Cup matches, Baby League matches of AIFF, and the district level matches for the Reliance Cup.

Standing alone against all odds calls for great courage and confidence. Slowly freeing up from the dependence on Kerala Blasters and Scoreline in running the School, it was decided to start our own Football School. The first Summer Coaching Camp under the aegis of the Management of RVSM Higher Secondary School was scheduled to be held from 1st April 2020. But the spread of Covid-19 outbreak played the spoilsport. As the restrictions imposed by the Government on health grounds are being eased, the RVSM Football School scheduled the coaching camps for students of different age groups starting from the age of five. The response from the students and parents is overwhelming. One hundred and sixty students from different schools, both boys and girls have joined the camp. The coaching camp of 2020-21 was formally inaugurated on 1st February 2021 by Prof. K  Krishna Pillai, Manager, RVSM Higher Secondary School. Besides regular theory and practice sessions, the Football School will impart special sessions by trained motivators and health professionals to the benefit of the students and their parents. Regular friendly matches with other Football Schools are already scheduled which will expectedly give our players more exposure. The school has an adequate stock of quality sports kits and equipment. The syllabus and player evaluation system conform to national standards and will be regularly updated. The progress reports of the players will be made available to the parents.
