Young Innovators Programme (YIP) is a flagship programme under Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) to promote a culture of innovation among youth of Kerala. The programme aims to empower future ideators to innovate new products, services or models to meet emerging requirements. unarticulated needs, or existing market needs of the society more effectively through an innovative challenge.
For the year 2021, Kerala Government included school students along with the students of ITIs, Arts and Science colleges, Polytechnic colleges, Medical and Engineering colleges and also with the students undertaking research in academics, research and other institutions.
As this was brought to the attention of our teachers, they were able to get 114 students registered from RVSM HSS. From among them, 106 students completed Voice of Customer training and received VOC certificates.
Our teachers could secure 20 groups with 40 students and with proper guidance, were able to register 20 ideas. For submitting exceptional ideas, all 40 students received Certificate of Recognition. RVSM HSS holds the title of ‘institution with the most submitted ideas’ (School category) in Alappuzha District. Two groups have been shortlisted in the preliminary evaluation amongst thousands of applications from all of Kerala, across all institutions as mentioned. This is to be seen as a great achievement, as the ideas were in direct competition with college and University level institutions.
The following are the proud achievers who are selected to represent RVSM HSS PRAYAR in a state level competition.
Group I: Mr. Aswin Krishna, Mr. Dheeraj Shaiju
Group II: Ms. Lekshmi Krishna, Ms. Afsana A, Ms. Nakshathra Prakash
Congratulations to the students and their mentors.
