Our School Band is re-launched in 2017 with new instruments and new uniforms. Mr. Baiju (Kerala Police) trained the selected boys and girls of the school over a period of three months. Regular practice under an ace Band-master transformed the boys and girls to star-performers. The services of the School Band are used during the ceremonial functions and special functions of the different activity groups of the school.
The services of the School Band are sought after by different organizations and institutions of Alappuzha and Kollam districts. Though the demand is high, the School is very selective in choosing the programs and would never let down the studies and interests of the members of the Band. The performance of the School-Band at the League Boat Race organized by the Member of Legislative Assembly and at the inaugural function of State Co-operative Week was highly impressive.
